The files generated by SC2ICal can be imported directly into the calendar application on the Macintosh; simply double-click on each of the .ics files.

The user will have to assign a preferred color to each platoon during the initial setup.

I do not have access to an iPhone to test whether it can directly import the files (iCal or CSV) generated by the SC2iCal utility.

That being said, it is possible to import data from Google Calendar into the iPhone.

My understanding is that the user has no control over the color assigned to custom calendars by the iPhone, so it may take some trial and error if you want your platoon colors to be correct. Perhaps some enterprising iPhone user will determine the correct procedure and make it available to other iPhone users.
