The following is a partial list of Shift Rotation Schedules currently on file. A zip file containing these .ini files appears at the bottom of the list.
To make one of these .ini files the default, download the file and save it with the filename "shiftcal.ini" in the application data directory. Depending upon your version of Windows (tm), this may be any of several places.
Older releases of ShiftCal maintained .ini files in the program directory:
C:\Program Files\Erickson\ShiftCal6\Current conventions dictate that data files be maintained separately from program files; in a shared (network) environment, the user may not have sufficient access rights to modifiy files in the program directory.
Windows 2000 and Windows XP provide a directory with the user's name under the "Documents and Settings" folder; ShiftCal data files are placed in a sub-directory under the user's "Application Data" folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Erickson\ShiftCal6\Windows Vista, 7, 8, and 10 add another layer of complexity by including "roaming" and "local" variations to the directory path:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Erickson\ShiftCal6\Other users on the same computer who do not have a username directory in the "Documents and Settings" folder will find that the program defaults to the "My Documents" directory.
Users of older versions of Windows may find their data files either in the program directory or in the "My Documents" directory. If in doubt, the user may perform a Search | For Files or Folders from the Start Menu; look for "inifiles.zip".
